EMDR is my preferred treatment method; it has changed my life and it has the potential to help you too. If EMDR is not right for you, my trainings in DBT, DNF, Narrative Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Gottman Method, Yoga, Dance, and Meditation make me a versatile and effective therapist. I understand the impact and prevalence of trauma in our world, and I take into consideration the ways that systems and structures (patriarchy, colonialism, racism, etc…) can negatively impact mental health, identity, relationships, and communities. My practice is body-positive; inclusive; LGBTQIA2S+; ENM; and kink friendly.
Trust and safety are vital to healing and growth, and these are essential to my process with every client. I am an empathetic, open-minded, and understanding therapist who places great value on the inherent wisdom that each person brings to therapy. I will bring expertise, knowledge, and experience to work together to find solutions to your challenges. My life experiences, in combination with my clinical skills and education, give me valuable insight into the struggles that many clients face including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and addictions.
